Our practice has two office locations to serve you.

There is ample street and garage parking available in the area.
Both offices have elevator access.

APPOINTMENTS

If you need to change or cancel your appointment time, we would appreciate a call to our office as soon as possible. Our staff will gladly reschedule your appointment to a more convenient time. Please be aware that your doctors are occasionally called away to the hospital for emergencies or to deliver a baby. Therefore, please leave your daytime phone numbers with the front desk, so you can be notified when there is a change with your appointment schedule. Please check in the front desk to confirm your appointment time upon arrival or you may call ahead of time. If you arrive more that thirty minutes after your appointment time, you may need to wait or reschedule your appointment.

OFFICE HOURS

Office hours are by appointment only, Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. Saturday morning appointments are available at the 3838 California Street Office from 9:30am to 5:30pm. Evening appointments are also available Tuesday through Thursday at the 3838 California Office. If you are unsure of which location your appointment is scheduled, please call the office.

PAYMENT

Please be prepared to bring your current insurance card with you for your appointment. Our office requires payment at the time of service. We accept cash, check, or credit card. If you are unable to comply, we appreciate that you reschedule your appointment to a later date. Billing questions should be directed to the business office at (415) 292-4628.

TELEPHONE CALLS

Both offices have multiple lines to receive your calls as well as voice mail options. The front office staff will take messages and phone calls will be returned according to priority. Please inform the receptionist if you are pregnant or having a medical emergency so that an urgent status can be flagged to your call. If you are having a life-threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1. All of your medical record files are securely stored at the Sutter Street office and your physician or nurse will return routine calls after the daily courier has retrieved your records. Since your physician may be at a different location or in surgery, please let us know if you are open to any available doctor or nurse to expedite the return of your call. We believe in maintaining clear communication and appreciate your participation with our team by providing accessible numbers for us to contact you.

PRESCRIPTION REFILLS

Please note that requests for prescription refills will be called or faxed into your pharmacy Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm within 24 hours unless the prescription is an emergency. Sometimes we may need to obtain authorization for you from your insurance plan before calling in your prescription. Please be aware that depending upon your pharmacy coverage, you may need to use a different formulary (i.e. generic brand) than what your physician prescribes. Because of the often high volume of calls that pharmacies receive, your prescription may be left on the pharmacy message machine.
